School Rules

Spring is a very fun time of year for both students and teachers. At this time of the school year we have many fun activities such as Measuring with Moms, Spring Musical and Field Day just to name a few. It is also the time of year when we are taking end of the year assessments, too. It is a very, very important time of year for fun and celebration but also time to finish up the learning we have done throughout the year.

During this time of year students become excited and antsy so it very important that students are in control for many reasons. Please take the time to remind your child how important it is to follow the school rules, be a good listener and to always do their best at school.

I have enjoyed being your child's teacher this year and I am looking forward to wrapping this year up in the month to come.

Hazel Grove Night at McDonald's

Homework and Spring Break Work

Please make note that students are bringing home a packet that is for their homework this week and for them to complete throughout Spring Break. Students should complete the packet and return it on Monday, March 25 to receive a prize. Also don't forget to log the books you read over spring break March is last month you can receive a pizza coupon for Book-It.

Reading Celebration Week

We will be celebrating reading all this week at Hazel Grove Elementary!! Below you will see what we will be doing each day to celebrate reading:

Monday-We will have a visit from a Storyteller!

Tuesday-We will have a guest reader come and read to us!

Wednesday-DEAR-Drop Everything and Read! Be sure to wear your pjs, a pillow and great book to read today!!

Thursday-Dress up as your favorite character.

Family Literacy Night is Canceled

Due to the bad weather and snow day we have canceled the Family Literacy Night at Coronado Middle School. We will reschedule at a later date.

Family Literacy Night

Come and join us for a great night of learning!! We will be sharing some fun literacy activities you can do at home with your child. Literacy night will be held at Coronado Middle School from 6-8 and dinner will be served.
