A special thank you to all the parents that made it to FAS conferences on Wednesday and Thursday. I enjoyed visiting with each of you and can't wait to see what the rest of the school year holds!

Family Advocacy Conferences

Please be looking for your FAS conference conformation that will be coming home in your child's purple folder on Monday. If for any reason you cannot attend your conference at the assigned time let me know as soon as possible. I am looking forward to meeting with each of you!!

Oct. 11 – No School for kids; Record Prep/District Inservice

Oct. 23 (pm) and 24 – FAS Conferences

Oct. 25 – No School/Teacher non-duty day

PTA

Please consider joining are PTA. The PTA at Hazel Grove is a wonderful way to work with other parents and teachers to do wonderful things at Hazel Grove. You will be receiving a membership form in your child's purple folder today return the form and $5 to join. The PTA will be meeting tomorrow evening Tuesday, September 17th at 6pm.

Also you will be receiving a flyer/pledge sheet for our Hazel Grove Elementary Walk-A-Thon that the PTA sponsors which will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5-7pm.

Coins for Kids

Hazel Grove is raising money for Children's Mercy Hospital. Students, staff, and parents are being asked to donate their spare change. The class that raises the most money will be rewarded with a pizza party! We'll be collecting from now until Friday, September 27th. Bring in those coins!!!
